On October 2, the 2025 Michelin Guide Vancouver launch celebration was grandly held in Vancouver, Canada. As a global partner, Wuliangye joined star chefs, gourmets and media representatives from around the world to witness this “city of mountains and sea” shine.
Stars Over Vancouver, Flavours in Motion
Vancouver — a city embraced by mountains and bays — takes nature as its scenery and taste as its medium. The Michelin Guide’s arrival weds the city’s natural beauty with culinary art, recording the land’s dining character and witnessing the fusion and resonance of Chinese and Western cultures on the palate.
At the launch, Wuliangye lent Eastern grace to the star-studded feast with its rich aroma and deep cultural heritage. Whether paired with Western seafood, fusion cuisine or innovative dishes of local ingredients, Wuliangye presented the harmonious flavour of food and wine interwoven, in its distinctive “way of harmony”.
Mountains as Table, Starry Sky as Curtain
Themed “Mountains Meet the Sea, Flavours Blend”, the event symbolized Vancouver’s unique natural setting and cultural character — the city’s natural spirit meeting Wuliangye’s artisanal brewing. The mountains’ majesty, the sea’s embrace, wine’s gentleness and aroma’s lingering length together sketched an aesthetic scroll where nature and humanity intertwine.
This encounter across cultures and regions was more than a collision of tastes — an exchange of culture and craftsmanship. Partnering with Michelin, Wuliangye not only displayed Chinese baijiu’s distinctive charm in the global fine-dining scene, but let the world once again feel the Eastern grace and artisanal spirit Wuliangye represents.
As Wuliangye’s aroma drifted on Vancouver’s sea breeze and Michelin’s starlight reflected in the glass, this “journey with stars” became a warm chapter where nature, humanity and deliciousness intertwine — another shining footnote to Chinese culture’s journey to the world.
