On the evening of October 3, 2026, the “Huaiyang Elegant Banquet · Yanghe Night” cultural exchange dinner was held in Burnaby, Greater Vancouver. Sponsored by the Yanghe brand, with Dream of the Blue M6+ served as the evening’s designated wine, the event paired the mellow Eastern spirit with Huaiyang cuisine and Chinese culture.

At the dinner, Yu Xuerong, president of the Jiangsu Cuisine Association, demonstrated the traditional cooking techniques of Yangzhou fried rice, while signature dishes such as Taizhou five-flavor shredded dried tofu and Huaiyang lion’s head meatballs took turns on the table — letting guests savor the delicate freshness of Huaiyang cuisine alongside the distinctive charm of Chinese baijiu.

Distinguished guests including Christa Kucey, Honorary Consul of Morocco, Andrej Krestan, Consul of the Czech Republic, and Mike Hurley, Mayor of Burnaby, attended and spoke highly of both the Huaiyang dishes and the Yanghe wines. A charity lucky draw added to the evening’s joy, with a bottle of Yanghe Dream of the Blue M6+ presented as the lucky prize.

During the event, the Jiangsu Cuisine Association, the Canadian Chinese Restaurant Association, and the North America Chinese Culture Promotion Association signed a cooperation agreement, building a long-term platform for culinary and industry exchange between China and Canada.
